5/20 Inventory Update


It was a pretty quiet weekend so I went to Cambria on Sunday with my family. Do you have any idea how many moon stones there are on Moon Stone Beach? A lot. Ask my granddaughter - I'm pretty sure she found them all. :) It was pretty slow going! We stopped for lunch on the way at Bell Street Farms in Los Alamos. If you haven't eaten lunch there you should. I also learned that the Union Hotel, which is also a B&B, has changed from a traditional dinner spot to Tapas and live music on the weekends. So cool! Speaking of Tapas … thank you to my neighbor and reader (you know who you are!) who organized a progressive Tapas dinner in our mutual neighborhood. It was a complete and total blast and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes their neighbors. We ate, we drank and were definitely merry by the time we got to the last house. Fun times! Can't wait until the next time.

3529 Tivola, Santa Ynez (3/2 on .24 of an acre) Was 525K with a new price of 499K. This one had some offers early on that didn't result in a sale. We finally see the price dipping below 5, which is good news. Pics don't really tell the story of this property. Come and see it in person. Very clean, traditional floor plan. Unusually private for this area due to the garage being out front and side front door entry. Surprisingly pretty well planned back yard with a slightly terraced  design. Now that its under 500K, I like it a lot more. Normal sale.

1540 Viking Way, Solvang (4/3 on 1 acre) Listed at $779,900 with a new price of 765K. One of my favorite properties. Just loved it. Mint condition with a floor plan that worked for so many lifestyles. End of the lane privacy.  When you see as many houses as I do, you learn to appreciate the ones that have been lovingly maintained over the years. This one definitely has. Normal sale.
